Catarama Baby!

Geeze! Another cat to look after! Lucky No.7! WE GOT ANOTHER STRAY KITTEN!

Can you believe our kitty('s) luck!? Me and my sister think this one might have been abandoned by his mother. It might have still been nursing! We named our stray, Pumpkin. He is very cute. I wanted to name it Tchcatkovsky after the famous composer, Tchaikovsky. My sis didn't like it. We found a name though. Yay!

The Ride to Copenhagen, Demark

"Click,Clack, Click,Click. Click,Clack, Click, Click," went the wheels of the train as we went away, far away, from Germany. As we entered our "room" we saw that three other people were there and 1 was not assigned to the seat he was in, but then he got out and went to his assigned "room". Then we got settled and every thing was OK. After that we introduced ourselves. About 50 mins. after that, bedtime sounded good so we went to bed. But where are the beds!? We didn't get sleeper cars! But no worries... we had Nat sleep on a seat, me sleep under the seats, and my parents sleep together on their seats. It felt like a freezer down there! We zipped our two windbreakers together to make a blanket - that helped a lot. I imagined I could see the train tracks and the train wheels going really fast. It made me dizzy thinking about it. In the middle of the night, we dropped off half the train, had a police investigation for some reason but that was all, and we went back to sleep. Then, when we woke up, we were almost there.

Chocolate Museum

This is is a coco tree in a green house at the Chocolate Museum.... since coco trees only grow where it is hot and humid all year round, the people had to make a green house for the
coco trees inside.

This is a picture of me and my sister looking at a machine that moves the chocolate to the other conveyor belt. The chocolate it forgets falls to another conveyor belt to be melted down and to be made into more chocolate pieces.

I could hear the screams of fun on the Falcon, dizziness on the Mad Mill, and from getting wet on the Splash. I could see the people having so much fun on the rides, and with such little time, I had absolutely no idea where to start.

We were camping out at Duinrell, an amusement park with a camp site, with Tante Elgin, Stefan, and Silas. My family and I slept in a tent while Tante Elgin, Stefan, and Silas slept in a travel trailer. My and my sister's favorite
rollercoaster was the Falcon. First, you go straightt up and down. Next, a loop the loop. Then you turn and go upside down. Finally, you turn again and go back to where you started. SO COOL!

I'm in Germany!

Here are some pictures of us...

I really like it here. I want to stay. I've learned that the Germans are very efficient. The signs are actually 2 signs that move, powered by the sun. Our German hosts are very nice! They let us stay in their house and arranged for me to go to school. School was fun but also very emotional. I felt sad, happy, and brave.
But I also want to go to Sweden. We leave tomorrow... at 11:00 p.m.!

Gute Nacht!

How to Make a "Tin -Can -Telephone"

Here are some easy steps to make a "Tin-Can-Telephone"

1. Get two tin cans. (Mandarin orange cans are ideal while tuna cans aren't ideal)
2. Take off any labels, stickers, etc.
3.Drill a hole in the back side, just big enough to fit some string.
4.Put a string in through the hole.
5.Find two paper clips.
6.Put the paper clips in the the tin cans.
7.Tie the string to the paper clip. (Tie it tight)
Set one tin can in one place and the other tin can in another place.

Shadow is our newly found kitten. Here is a picture. Shadow is a boy. We hoped he would be a girl so Shadow would mate with our other cat. We feed him oatmeal and cat food. We caught him by catching him in a net.We found him on our porch. We plan on putting him in our dog carrier until he is old enough and loyal enough. We even made a tiny litter box to really use his kitty instincts, which are to cover up all feces and urine. We love him. We are taming him. At his age, it is easy. He already lets us pet him AND HE PURRS!

I Love Sphinxes!

I love pretending I am a sphinx. I drew a picture of me as one. I know it is crooked but do you like it? I spent some time making it. We have boxes we play sphinx in.

Palm Sunday

Today at church, I waved palm branches and yelled, hosanna, hosanna! I felt kind of good and sort of weirdish. I felt good because I was praising God but weird because I was yelling in church.

My Garden

Hey guys, before I get going on my topic, I would like to say, DON'T put my full name ------- on the comments. It is sort of dangerous for me.

Now, my garden has re-sprouted! I thought that after the freeze they died. But now, they are more beautiful than ever! It's amazing! Soon, I will post a picture.

It's Unfair!

Hey, my teacher gives us too much homework. My sister gets 2 worksheets, and the worksheets are super easy!
I get, well, no worksheets but a math book, multiplication, and some more. Lucky her! I'm done, with time to blog. But I don't like that much homework. I don't (nor the boys and maybe some girls) like that much homework!

Help Haiti

Hey, remember, the earthquake?? If everyone donates $1.00, We as America can raise about $1,000,000.00. So donate one dollar to your Red Cross Center or hospital. Your donation will be greatly accepted. We are sponsoring a fundraiser. Haiti will be happy. Also, the feeling when you make people happy will change your life forever. Like my friend said, Reflect-Choose-Act. Here's 3 ideas.

1. Fill a milk jug with pop tabs. Donate to hospital.

2.Give one dollar.

3.Pray for as many people to be found alive as possible.

Everyone in Haiti will be grateful. So donate one dollar and make others around the world happy with your donations. :)
